Analytics MCP

The Ezoic Analytics MCP server lets you explore your website analytics from inside AI assistants. Ask questions in natural language — about pageviews, visits, engagement, ad impressions, video performance, and revenue metrics like EPMV — and the assistant retrieves the answer directly from your Ezoic analytics.

It is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard these assistants use to connect to external tools and data.

Endpoint: https://analytics-mcp.ezoic.com/mcp

Set up

Choose your assistant:

What you can ask

Once connected, you can ask things like:

  • "How many pageviews did my site get last week, broken down by day?"
  • "Which countries earned me the most ad revenue last month?"
  • "What are my top pages by engaged time over the last 30 days?"
  • "How is my video revenue trending this quarter?"
  • "Compare rewarded ad completions week over week."
  • "Which of my sites can you see analytics for?"

The assistant translates your question into an analytics query, retrieves the data, and summarizes it. You can follow up conversationally to filter, sort, or break the numbers down further.

What data it can access

The MCP is read-only. It can retrieve analytics data for the Ezoic domains your account has access to, and it cannot change any setting, configuration, or content on your account. It exposes the following tools:

Tool What it returns
Available domains The domains your account can report on
Pageview data Traffic, engagement, and per-visit revenue metrics (pageviews, visits, EPMV, engaged time, and more)
Ad impression data Impressions, clicks, viewability, RPM, and ad revenue by ad unit and placement
Rewarded ad data Rewarded ad starts, completions, completion rate, and revenue
Video data Video plays, completions, watch time, video revenue, and CPM
Shared video data Performance of your videos displayed on other sites

Each dataset can be broken down by dimensions such as date, page, country, device, browser, traffic source, and ad unit, with filtering and sorting — the same data that powers Big Data Analytics in your Ezoic account.

Authentication and security

  • Sign in with your Ezoic account. Connecting uses OAuth 2.0: you are redirected to Ezoic's login, you authorize the connection, and the assistant receives a scoped access token.
  • Analytics permission required. A publisher user can connect only if their Ezoic role includes analytics access, matching what they can already see in the Ezoic dashboard.
  • Read-only. No tool can modify, create, or delete anything in your Ezoic account.
Team members: if you log in as a publisher user (a team member on someone else's Ezoic account), your login needs the Analytics permission. Account owners manage team permissions in the Ezoic dashboard under Account → Privacy & Security → Manage Users.

Troubleshooting

These issues apply across assistants:

  • "Domain does not belong to this publisher" — you asked about a domain your login can't access. Ask "which domains can you see?" to list the domains available to your connection.
  • A dimension or metric is rejected — not every column is available on every account; the error message lists the valid options.
  • Connection fails at login — confirm you can sign in at login.ezoic.com with the same credentials. Publisher users also need the Analytics permission (see above).
  • A date range returns no data — the MCP reports the earliest and latest dates available for the requested domains; keep your range within that window.
